Effective development of the renewable energy sector requires consistent, predictable, and supportive legal regulations. Legislation directly impacts investments, innovation, employment, and the pace of the green transition. Therefore, one of the key tasks of the Renewable Energy Sector Development Council is active participation in legislative processes and cooperation with public administration at all levels — from local to central.
The Council serves as an expert advisory body that helps create regulations adapted to market, technological, and social realities.
Our activities include:
Participation in public and legislative consultations. We prepare opinions, positions, and recommendations on draft laws, regulations, and strategies concerning renewable energy, the energy market, and climate policy.
Formulating proposals for procedural simplifications. We identify administrative and legal barriers that slow down renewable energy investments and present concrete solutions.
Creating spaces for dialogue with the administration. We organize meetings, workshops, and discussion panels with representatives of ministries, offices, and regulators.
Analyzing the impact of regulations on the labor market and innovation. We assess how legal changes affect employment, skills development, technology transfer, and sector competitiveness.
Supporting local governments in developing local renewable energy. We promote good legislative practices at the local level and support the creation of energy plans and energy cluster development.
Our goal is to create a stable, transparent, and friendly legal environment that supports the development of renewable energy, minimizes investment risk, and accelerates decision-making processes. Thanks to reliable cooperation between the administration and industry and scientific communities, it is possible to build policies based on knowledge, experience, and the real needs of the market.
