The Sectoral Council for Competences in the Renewable Energy sector (OZE) plays a key role in shaping and developing professional competences in the field of renewable energy sources. Its main goal is to monitor labor market needs, adapt the education system to sector requirements, and support initiatives for vocational training and professional development.
Council activities aim to provide the industry with qualified specialists who will be able to meet the challenges arising from the energy transition and the introduction of innovative technologies.
The Council operates based on national and EU regulations concerning the labor market and vocational education, cooperating with public administration, universities, vocational schools, companies from the OZE sector, and industry organizations. Its activities are funded from public and private sources as well as EU funds supporting competence development and innovation in the renewable energy sector.
The development of the OZE sector in Poland is part of the broader energy transition strategy of the European Union. Key documents and regulations such as the European Green Deal, Fit for 55, and the national Energy Policy until 2040 set directions where adapting professional competences to labor market demands and developing modern technologies play a crucial role.
